New World of Web 2.0

We have learned these four steps to embedding

1. Type in text- check it

2. Publish and check it

3.  Edit it again , go to code mode (HTML tab)- paste in code

4. Immediately hit the SAVE button – this plublishes it

The video was mostly telling us that the world today is not what it seems to be.That means that there are way more people in China, Japan and India then here in the U.S and they have more honor students than we do children alone. Very scary! This video is also saying that they are catching up to us. What I mean by that is that they are studying our ways of living and what we do on a daily bases.Somewhere in the video it said that China will be the next number one English speaking country in the nation in less than 10 years or so. That says a lot about what there educational goals are in life. This video is also targeting our government and what we are doing with it.It lets us know that we don’t spend as much money on our schools or anything to benefit us in the least bit. In the video it also says that students that are in collage for a degree in the beginning of  their second years schooling will be outdated before they even graduate from that collage that they are attending now.This is not a very good thing for the students.

I think that the most important quote/statement is ” Shift happens.” No matter what happens in life they don’t always go as planned. In the video it says that China will soon become the number one English speaking country. Who to thunk it??? Would have probably thought that it has, and always be the number one Chinese speaking country….. right????That’s what I thought. But “Shift happens.”Therefore, this will effect the fetcher because not only Americans will be speaking English, but so will the Chinese over in china. (No duh!!!) And, they will have a piece of our culture in their ways of life now. This will also let everybody know that China is capable of doing some similar things as us, and they have the tools and they knowledge of engaging in this event. It is possible. 

 This video has also made me look at my distant but near future. This movie was some what “inspiring” in a way. What I mean is that it made me look at how far you can get with your education and it is more important then ever in times like this. When I was watching this video I thought to myself, “I really do need my education more than I think.” It has changed  my outlook om many things. Like, what I want to do when I get older, and were I want to go worth my life.

Web 1.0

Web 1.0 was really hard to use back when the computer was first sold. In web 1.0 you could make a page, take your my space page for example (if you have one), but instead of copieing, draging, and pasting you would have to copy the code word for word, letter for letter, and if you messed up you would have to start all over. Therefor the coustomers were often not to happy with this system that they had paid tons of money for.Then came more problems along the way. If you were to save a document on the Internet or hard drive it would often get lost. Or if the hard drive were to crash then you would never be able to pull it back up

Web 2.0
The difference between 1.0 and 2.0 is that 2.0  is so much easier and so much faster then 1.0 . Like I said before with copieing codes you can now click on the code, copy it and save it to your file or page. So much quiker then haveing to copy it all by yourself!!!!!!You can also make your own page by  yourself because it is that easy to do. And when you go to save a document or project you can save it to one of your file or hard drive without it crashing on you.

Although I have to say that Web 2.0 is so much better then Web 1.0 . And it fits our life style to the fittest, because most people don’t like to wait and sit around waiting for more problems to accrue just for one simple easy task.
